This walk to the east begins after you pass under the Carling Avenue overpass. You will have to cross another two Parkway access roads.   For the next kilometre or so, you will be traveling through green fields and stands of trees.

If you listen, you will hear Pinecrest Creek murmuring directly to your left.

At a number of places, the trees clear, and the creek is easily accessible.  Lose a few moments under its enchantment.  Benches are available periodically alongside the path.

After this kilometre, you will reach a quaint wooden bridge with metal railings, crossing the creek.

A few hundred metres further, the path crosses a transitway access road.

Stop, cross, and then travel directly beside the Transitway and under the Queensway overpass.  The path will shortly bring you to a traffic light.  Cross both Iris Street and the Transitway to continue along the Pinecrest Creek Pathway

Pinecrest Creek is now directly to your right.

After about 400 metres, turn right at the sign for the Baseline Station Transitway station.

Cross.

Follow the path through the woods for another 300 metres ...

... to the Baseline Road underpass.

The path continues past Baseline Road until it reaches the T intersection with the Centrepointe neighbourhood on the right, and Algonquin College on the left.

Keep to the left as you head towards Algonquin College. Stay on the Recreational Pathway until you reach the Skate Park.

This is the end of the second walk/ride.
